Assessment based on deriving risks by category for each asset/activity – as detailed in the Risk Register (copy held by Clerk).

Risks are derived by using the expression: Risk = Likelihood x Consequence and summing over the range of possibilities for each category of risk for each asset/activity.

Both ‘likelihood’ and ‘consequence’ are rated on a simple five point scale from 0 (lowest likelihood / consequence) to 4 (lowest likelihood / consequence).

The same likelihood scale is used for each category of risk while that for the consequences varies.

Meetings of the full council are scheduled to take place on the second Thursday of each month, excluding August, unless a meeting is required for urgent business to be discussed, when an additional meeting can  be called.  A calendar of meeting dates for the full council and the Playing Field Committee in 2019 is available by clicking on the link below:

LPC Meeting Dates 2019

The council currently has two committees; the Playing Field Committee and the Personnel Committee.  The Playing Field Committee usually meets each February, June and October to discuss future plans, maintenance and club activities (please see Playing Field Committee section of this website for minutes etc.).    The Personnel Committee meets as required and due to the confidential nature of items discussed, no agendas or minutes are published.
